COMMISSIONED PROJECTS

A former public art officer with the City of Toronto, Catherine has led many commissions from initial art plan to installation, and has comprehensive knowledge of public art policy and processes. Her recent work includes competition management, policy and master plan development, and project management for a landmark artwork.

Along with her work in public art, Catherine has been a photography and illustration editor for some of Canada’s best magazines, and has curated exhibitions for public, private and commercial galleries.

She holds an MA in Contemporary Art from the Sotheby’s Institute, London, and an MLA from the Daniels Faculty of Architecture, Landscape & Design at the University of Toronto. She recently completed the RHS Level 2 Horticulture Certificate, and her current research and training focuses on sustainability in project planning and production.

Catherine draws on her extensive skills and experience, as well as a wide network of collaborators, to realise the unique creative, social and ecological vision of each project.
